Δεν ξέρω αν έχω δικαίωμα να πω "oh, fuck!" αφού έχω να διαβάσω Pratchett από το 'Night Watch' ... αλλά αφού σκόπευα να catch up σε κάποια φάση, θα το πω: "OH, FUCK!"
Ναι, OK, he aten't dead και όλα αυτά, και σίγουρα υπάρχει η πιθανότητα να μας πατήσει όλους αμάξι πριν πεθάνει ο Pratchett ή ακόμα και πριν σταματήσει να δουλεύει σωστά το μυαλό του, still ... Είναι σαν κάποιος να έβαλε ένα counter πάνω από το κεφάλι του αγαπημένου μου συγγραφέα, και δεν έχω και Death God Eyes να δω τι λέει ...

Είμαι all ouched out. Δε φτάνει που, με την πώρωση που έχω, αν μάθαινα ότι του πονούσε το μικρό δαχτυλάκι του ποδιού του του Terry θα κόντευε να μου πονέσει κι εμένα, αλλά έχω 'από καιρό' issues με το Alzheimer’s. Από τότε που το είχε ο σχωρεμένος ο παππούς μου δλδ, και έβλεπα πόσο μπορεί να κάνει το μυαλό κάποιου κιμά, και, όπως εξηγεί κι ο ίδιος ο Pratchett, να μη μπορεί να κάνει τίποτα. Είναι, όπως το βλέπω, σαν κόλαση επί της γης. Χειρότερο, για 'μένα, από το να μην έχεις το σώμα σου, είναι να μην έχεις το μυαλό σου (και το λέω αυτό με κάθε συναίσθηση του τι σημαίνει να μην έχεις το σώμα σου). And it sucks so major-time, και το μόνο που με κάνει και γελάω στο θέμα είναι η τραγική αλήθεια αυτού που μου είχε πει ο Bafflerog, ότι ο άνθρωπος χρησιμοποιούσε τόσο πολύ το μυαλό του που, well, εν τέλει το έκαψε.
Αλλά, βεβαίως, ακόμα ο Pratchett είναι εκεί μέσα. He aten't dead.

Η θεωρία μου είναι ότι ακριβώς επειδή ήταν 'τέτοιο μυαλό', τόκαψε.
Τώρα που πολεμάει για ευθανασία, το έχετε προσέξει, ε; Υπό μία έννοια, δίκιο έχει, αλλά είμαι της άποψης ότι ποτέ δεν ξέρεις, μέχρι το τέλος, σ' αυτά.
EDIT: Α, ναι, πιο πάνω το λέει κιόλας εδώ αυτό... Απλά, τώρα που δεν κλαψομουνιάζω απλά και το έχω σκεφτεί και φιλοσοφήσει, διαφωνώ βασικά. Είναι το κλασσικό 'μην εμπιστεύεστε ποτέ τις πρώτες μου αντιδράσεις', in action.
